Eligibility Requirements and Application Guidelines
General Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for an award, applicants must:
• Be a graduating high school senior from one of the local New York City selected high schools
• Be a US citizen or legal permanent resident
• Pursuing advanced education beyond high school
• Write an essay with regards to the impact of the award one year from the granting to be posted to the website
General Application Guidelines
To be considered for an award, applicants are required to submit:
• Completed application form
• Typed Essay as specified on application form
• Application fee of $8
• Submit by the deadline specified
Selection Process
Awards are granted on the basis of the essay’s subject matter, personal context, and aspiration. Amounts are dependent on fundraisers. The selection and amounts granted are at the discretion of the fund sponsors.
